How to "update file" on a Mac/Firefox?

  • I am new to WP, trying to insert some custom CSS into style.css of the Suffusion theme.
CTRL F5 doesn’t work, since I have a cmd button. I tried all key combinations of CMD, CTRL, Shift, ALT, FN and F5 – only got my VoiceOver switched on.
I cannot find an “update” button. Help is very much appreciated before I go mad %/
Perhaps such a topic exists, but I couldn’t find it.

    Thank you esmi!
Of course there is a setting in the Mac where you can preferably use the F-keys as Mac or in their original function with/without the FN-key.
What I didn’t find out yet is: is refreshing enough to update a CSS file edited in WP?
So far I didn’t succeed and had to edit “at home” and replace the style.css via FTP

A hard refresh should be enough, yes. It’s got nothing to do with WordPress but is, instead, controlled by your web browser.
