How to uninstall WP Minify? Probems persist after deactivation

The WP Minify plugin has caused major problems with my homepage slideshow in IE. I cleared the cache, deactivated the plugin, etc. but the problem won’t go away. Please help. Does this plugin permanently change the JS and CSS files?
