    Hey all,

I am having trouble even accessing my site after the 5.8 auto update making the site unaccessible even on editor mode. here is the error I get and after searching online the solution I see is uninstalling Gutenberg plug in, but I don’t know how to do that.

    Any help?

    Error:
Fatal error: Cannot declare class WP_Block_Template, because the name is already in use in /home/customer/www/neptunescloud.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gutenberg/lib/full-site-editing/class-wp-block-template.php on line 12

  • Using FTP (e.g. Filezilla) or the control panel provided by your host (e.g. cPanel), use the file manager to navigate to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory. In there you will see a list of folders, each one corresponding to a plugin installed on the site. To disable thee Gutenburg plugin, rename the folder to Guternburg.hold. To remove the plugin completely, delete the plugin folder.

Really, there is no need to keep the Gutenburg plugin installed and activated as most of the features are available in WordPress 5.8, so I would delete it to avoid any future issues.
