    Hi,

I cannot get a Blog page to look like the one in the free Demo. How do I get my post to show up in a Blog page that has the Date on the left, the Blog summary in the middle, and the Right side bar??

    Thanks

  • Hi

For the display all posts in blog page.

You need to go in Admin Dashboard (Settings -> Reading.) Then check radio button option – A static page (select below). For more help refer this shot here: http://prntscr.com/fmzx3j

    Hope you’re doing very well.

If you need more help let me know.

Huh?, that would change my Front page. I don’t want to do that. I have a menu item with the top Level set to Resources with Blog listed under it. I can move the Blog to the top level if that is required. But I want it to show up like the Live Demo. My Blog shows up under other Themes???

    Hi

Can you please provide us url of your site. then we will help you much better.

    Hi

All you need to do is play around with the WordPress Reading Settings to get the desired results.

If you want to setup your blog as similar to the one we have in our demo, than, in the reading setting select your blog page in the post page setting which is this http://zypath.com/resources/blog/ in your case.

    Regards
    Priyanshu

    Hi,

Okay getting closer. I did what you suggested and it sort of worked. The front page now works correctly and the blog page works but there are three issues with the Blog page. One, the dates are not showing on the left side as in the Live Demo. No matter whether I set Full Text or Summary, the Full Text is always shown. The author is not shown and the fourth issue, the Title bar does not show the menu path ie Home/Resources/Blog.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi

It is not advisable to post all your queries in a single thread, so, for other issues kindly post separate tickets. As your original query is resolved in which you asked to display the blog page.

If you want to display post meta ie date, comments count and author name go to Appearance -> Customize -> Latest News settings -> Latest News settings and uncheck the setting Hide post meta from News section.

Hope this will do and for other issues kindly create a separate ticket and allow me to close this support thread.

    Regards
