how to turn comments of?

    dear WordPress people
    I have been seraching the forum for this solution, but only found a walk-through of how to do it in wordpress 1.5 and 1.2… but it seems like the files that this walkthrough referes to does not exist in my wordpress version (it is v. 2.0.4).

    can anyone help me to turn of the comments here?!

    I found some info on it on google…

    firstly i did’nt think i could figure this out – cause i did’nt know how to do quaries, but it is easy!

    run this SQL query in phpMyAdmin (the database control panel that most of the hosts provide for managing MySQL databases):

    UPDATE wp_posts SET comment_status=”closed”;

    the comment-link will still be there, but no comments can be made.. pretty easy…
