• Hi there
    In “Customizing > Footer > Footer Copyright HTML” I see {copyright} {year} {site-title}. If I add some custom text to it like in website tagline (tagline is easily translated in WPML String translation) like “{copyright} {year} {site-title} – Best website ever !” How to translate “Best website ever !” ? Different footer for each languge. I can’t find my custom “Best website ever !” string in WPML String translation.
    Thank you

    One more question
    What does language conditional mean?

    1.0.4 9th December 2021
    Add: Language conditional to conditional header.
    Add: Language conditional to elements

    Hi,
    Are you using a child theme? It’s possible if you’ve set up a child theme that you need to create your own wpml-config file for it. If you are just using the theme then the footer text will be in the string translations.

    As for 1.0.4 of the Pro addon there are options to show conditional headers based on the language of the site for multilingual sites. The same is true of Pro elements.

    Yes

    you need to create your own wpml-config file for it.

    How to do it ? I have to move wpml-config file from parent theme ?

    I don’t suggest you use a child theme, like will make your life easier 🙂

    https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/knowledge-base/advanced/what-is-a-child-theme-should-i-install-one-if-so-how/

    But yes you need to copy the wpml-config file and then change the line 3 theme_mods_kadence to match that of your child theme.

    theme_mods_{child_theme_slug}

    I got it. I activated the parent theme. Thank you.
