Hi. Same question here! Also how can I use Added New Cookie Law Info – can I use it as “Read More” and with different languages?
We have found some issues with WPML compatibility. We will be correcting those translation related issues and will be updating within a week or two.
Hi @markwt, I’ve noticed that sometimes the main language strings get replaced by one of the additional languages’ strings when using WPML string translation. Is this the issue that you say that will be solved soon? I see the plugin was updated a few days ago, but the problem persists.
Hi @ovejabeja
We are updating the po/mo translation with new language updates. WPML compatibility missing section is not updated yet.

Is there a working solution? Still waiting.
Same question : how to translate the content of the banner in 3 languages?
I see another problem:
The translation of the message and buttons etc works with WPML. For the people that don’t know, you can translate the texts into different languages via the WPML String Translation. This works fine with WPML language switcher. The only problem I have is that I can only set one link for the [cookie_link]. This is problematic as the link that you put in here always links to the same page. Since my privacy policy page is in German, I need a different link. Is there a way to add several links for the [cookie_link] or tell it to do a redirect, depending on the choose language?
Grateful for any help.
Thx
Simon
Folks, I solved it!!!!! :).
Here is what you do to solve this one last problem:
You set up the reject button with the additional link you want to have. In my case: The Privacy Policy page in English. Then you go to WPML String Translation and translate the message including buttons. Make sure you implement the [cookie_reject] in the translation.
For me it basically looked like this:
This website uses cookies. By continuing to use the website, you agree to the use of cookies. Further information on cookies can be found in our privacy policy.
[cookie_button] [cookie_reject]
—————————————–
This works fine if you have only two different languages! If you need three languages or more, and more different links to the privacy pages in the respectives languages, then it won’t work.
I hope I could be of help.
Best regards,
Simon
