    Hi there,

I am looking after a site which is for staff who need to login to see content.
I have set up the basic Analytics for the website and ticked the box to ensure ‘Logged-in users will be included in Analytics tracking.’
Do I need to do anything differently in the actual analytics account as the stats do not seem to be showing correctly?

For example – do I need to create a different view which has a custom dimension set for logged in viewers?
And if so, how do I add that code correctly?
    Many thanks!
    John

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@mrlennyman From checking your website is seems you have a login feature on the URL you provided, via a plugin. Because of this is the Analytics tracking code is not placed within this login page. Is this the URL you are trying to track?

For example – do I need to create a different view which has a custom dimension set for logged in viewers?

Once you’ve unticked the “Exclude from Analytics” option the administrators will be counted. You don’t need to apply any additional views or Analytics level filters after doing so.

Let me know the URL you are trying to track. If it’s https://ironfish.com.au as opposed to https://ifc.ironfish.com.au the tracking code will need to be placed within the source code of that URL. You may need to temporarily disable the login plugin when setting up Site Kit to do so.

So the url I want to track is ifc.ironfish.com.au
And yes there is a login redirect plugin being used.

I want to be able to track all Admin and subscribers who login.
It does not need to be on the wp-login page itself.

How can I connect it properly – I am using the plugin to make the connection.
I have not placed code on the site.

    CHeers!

@mrlennyman Can you temporarily deactivate the login plugin before trying to setup Site Kit? Let me know if that works for you.
