Support » Fixing WordPress » How to track how many people have visited my page via another website

  • Here is my question, my friend has a word press site on which he has links that promote my facebook page and website. Is there an app or widget that he could install that would track who and how many people clicked my link on his page so he and I could determine how many of his customers have visited my website via the link he posted on his site.

I am not great with code so if there is a simple widget that could be installed to do this I would appreciate the info

  • If he has a WordPress site as well, then the PrettyLink plugin would do the job. Have him install it, then generate a PrettyLink to your page and update all instances where he has a link to your page on his site. PrettyLink has a counter showing how many people click on each custom link.

I have a site which was created by concessionwebservices.com and they added a password protected control panel and it shows me home many people came to me site, how many times each visitor came to my site, how they came to me site (i.e. by clicking a link, which link was clicked, by search engine, etc.), for how long they stayed on site, how many pages they looked at etc. etc. Its a very cool app. Here is their site link…
