    Hi,

    I’ve been using the plugin Rename Media Files on 4 images of my site.
    Wp Smsuh had previously smushed those images.
    Rename Media Files created new images that aren’t smushed.
    How can i smush again those images ?

    Thanks in advance

    Joanny

  • Hi @joanny,

    Are those image sizes registered by Rename media File plugin?

    If yes, you can install Regenerate Thumbnail Plugin, and then regenerate the particular image you want to optimise ( Only if Auto Smush is turned on ).

    Cheers

    Thank you for your answer.

    I don’t know if the plugin is registering image size. Here is the plugin descritio ;

    This plugin enables renaming of media files. It adds a field in media edit form where you can enter new file name. After renaming, it’ll regenerate all intermediate image sizes (if media file is an image) and update all links inside posts.

    I used Regenerate Thumbnail on one image then i checked on ftp and the images size didn’t change. I still have a warning on Google Page speed Insight about this image.

    Cheers

    @joanny, I’ll need to debug this in person.

    Can you possibly contact us via: premium.wpmudev.org/contact.

    On the page, You’ve to select “I’ve a different question” from dropdown, mention “Attn. Umesh Kumar” in subject and add a link to this thread in message and submit the form.

    Cheers
