• Hello WordPress community! I’m so excited to be using WP 2.3 and it’s been working great so far.

I just have a couple of questions.

I have three people that post on my blog. The problem I’m having is that when I post, there’s nothing to distinguish it from when, say, my friend Jeff posts. It doesn’t say who posted it. I know I can make categories, but I wanted to just have it say something like “Posted by Jeff” or similar.

I looked around the options a few times, but can’t seem to find it. It seems like it would be a simple checkbox like, “Show name of person who posted at the top of the post”.

Thank you for any help in advance!!

    ~Jim

  • There is a by: line that is included with each post. For instance, your profile links to a blog with several by lines (By Jim Fusco:).

This helps with who wrote the story. The moderator/admin really just looks at the story and posts it.

There is also the “Post Author” box on the side of every post. Pull it down and all your registered writers will be listed. Choose to change.
