The Speed Boost Cache code is in your root .htaccess file and is processed as soon as a request/visitor visits your site. The Speed Boost Cache code is Browser caching code so if you want to test things to see if caching is working then install the Firefox Browser and install these Firefox Add-ons: YSlow, Firebug and Firephp. To launch/enable Firebug and YSlow you will see a button with an image of a bug in the top right toolbar of the Firefox browser.

Firebug has several buttons in its toolbar. the “Net” button/tab page shows what is loading on your website and what has been cached on repeat/return loads.

To clear your Browser cache in Firefox go to the top right 3 bar settings button, click on Options, click on the Network tab, click the Clear Now button to clear your Browser cache. You can then see what is loading on a first load/visit to your site in the “Net” tab window and what is being cached on repeat/return loads of your website pages.

Assuming that you were able to install the necessary apps and add-ons to test caching – ie first page load after clearing browser cache and repeated/return page loads of cached pages for page load time comparisons – resolved.
