How to tell if a website is powered by WordPress or Tumblr

Is it possible to tell if The Case is powered by WordPress? At the bottom of the page it says ‘Bear with us for the next little while we are in the middle of changing the whole site from WordPress over to Tumblr. If you do see something that’s not quite right it’s more than likely we are working on it.’ …is what I see WordPress or Tumblr? How can you generally tell?

    Many thanks,

    A

That’s not much of a site at all! It’s all jacked up, but it’s not wordpress.org software

The way you tell is to view->source from in your browser

Somewhere in there it’ll usually say if it’s owrdpress, if not, look for a link to style.css, copy the url and paste it in your browser to open the style.css file…. that.ll usually have a wordpress theme header and info

You can also feed the url into: http://ismyblogworking.com/

It will tell you if it is WordPress, the version number, host and a bit more.
