Hi,
I have a woocommerce website with your plugin.

I already add schema for products by this guide.

When I test with Google’s Structure data testing tool, the product description is the short description of Woocommerce, which is not my desired result.

My point is, I want the description of schema product to be the meta description of YOAST SEO. Is it possible?

Hi there!

Thanks for using our plugin.

Yes this is possbile. You can do it by ‘modify schema output’ (https://prnt.sc/qeiopg). Select the custom field and choose yoast meta description key.

Hi,

I tried your guide. Then I chose “yoast wpseo metadesc”.
Then I checked with Google Structured Data testing tool.
But the description property of schema product is stil the same.

You can see the value of meta=’description’ is not the same with the description property of schema product.

We have tested it on our end and can see that it is working fine.

You just check again at your end.

I have just enabled “Structured Data for non AMP” in Setting of the plugin.
Now it works, thanks.
