  • Resolved Daniel

I was wondering if it’s possible to change background of emails created with composer (now it’s just a white background but I’d like to change it to, let’s say, gray) and maybe wrap email content with additional table with certain parameters (max-width, padding, etc)? I know that it’s possible to create separate themes but this time it’s needed to use composer. Also is it possible to add own composer blocks?

I’ve found appriopriate code in newsletter/emails/emails.php (I think that’s, where the code for composers’s emails layout resides, but I might be wrong), but obviously, if I change anything there and then update the plugin, all changes will be lost.

I’m OK with PHP so I can do a little coding, no worries, I just need some directions.

    Best regards, Dan.

Hi, we’re extending the composer to both:

    – have custom hook for coders which wants to change it behavior programmatically
    – have settings for general newsletter attributes (background and so on).

but by now there is not an official way to get what you need.

Ah, having appriopriate hooks would be a huge help!

And if it’s about custom blocks I figured that out. Using information available on your website and a little bit of trial and error I managed to create custom post type block, works really well.

    Thank you very much!

    Best regards, Dan.
