[Resolved] How to store the shot local

    Hi
    This is a superb plugin.
Is it possible to get the image stored in the upload folder?

    Three examples why

We are using this in our project workspace installs of wp and a lot of mail for new posts – links – with current shot in the post. We would like to include tha image in the notification system/ emails.

Second, The first time a page is viewed, no shot is generated, just the black spinning box. But the second time, its ok. So a preloaded background image – locally stored – would be nice, captured from local folder…

Third, sometimes the shot is a “example” of something and we don wanna have a refresh / actual shot from any updated source page.

Also for the future, a choice of white light box instead of the black stuff would be nice

Thanks for this plug and your work!

This could be done using the media_sideload_image() function, possibly attached to the save_post hook.

Kevin, I am trying to save the image to the local, did a lot of stuff, including the media_side_image() function, may be I am doing something wrong or the function is not meant to do such stuff.

Can you please help me with this? I really need this.

just suggest some links which could explain me how this can be done, if possible.

    Thanks in advance.
