No these files are temporally files to be able to store on the front
What is the problem with these files ?
The problem is that in the folder there are 1125 files of 20MB size itself, and it increases greatly the total size.
Sorry for my english…
Why don’t you limit the time the file (local) are kept ?
How?
Is posible to save the backupson the distant FTP for 30 days and limit the time at local?
The distant files have not expiration date and are NEVER deleted … Only the local file have a time period
Ah! Ok!!!
I must to limit the time in the plugin settings and only affect to the local files, and, when the size of total distant files are too much, I can delete the older files manually by FTP, is it right?
Hello,
I have new questions, sorry.
I saw that in my host are saved a lot of files every day. For example, on 15 June, 203 files were stored, half of them of 2 bytes of size, but the other half have 20 MB of size each one. So, every day are stores files for 2 GB of total size.
This is too much for a day, because if I want to have a copy of one week, the size is 14 GB.
What is the use of this files? I need to save the same number of them that the number of backups that I want to have in a distant FTP? And, is there some way to change it and to make that this files aren’t stored?
Thank you
I do not understand your point … What files are you referring to?
In my host, in wp-content/sedlex

Yes and ?
The files end with ok only indicates a status
The files end with zip are the backup files
If the backup is huge I do not see what I can do : it only means that your website is big … That is all
Please note that the backup files are not backup during the next round
