How to stop Featured Image duplicating on Home page?

    1. I’ve set a Featured Image on most of my blog posts.
    2. I’ve set Reading Settings > Front page displays > Your latest posts.

    On the Front (Home) page, the latest post’s Featured Image is repeated above the post (as well as already being inside the post) and I don’t want that repetition above the post.

    How can I stop the Featured Image from being repeated above the post on the Home page?

    Hi there, I tested this on my test site running Colinear and wasn’t able to replicate the issue – the featured post was only displayed once per post, on both the blog page and single post. I didn’t see it repeated twice anywhere.

    I’m not seeing any repeated images on your site, were you able to get this issue solved?

    Hello, Kathryn – Thank you for your response! No, I was not able to get it resolved but a colleague told me of a similar issue elsewhere – it was theme-related. I don’t want to change my theme, though, so I have had to delete the Featured images from my posts. I am now going to mark this resolved.

    Featured images definitely shouldn’t be repeating on posts in Colinear so if you’d like to troubleshoot further, do please feel free to add back a featured image on one sample post and link it here, and I’d be glad to have a look to see why that may be happening. If there’s a bug in the theme I’d like to get it fixed up. 🙂
