How to stop automatic link generation

    Hi all,

    I scheduled a post on my blog today and when I went to preview it, I noticed that there are a large number of auto generated links in my post – I have not added these links and I’m not sure how they have been generated. For example, I used the word Kindle in my post and this now links to a page about Amazon Kindle’s.

    Does anyone know:

    1) How this is happening – is it a plug-in?
    2) How to remove it

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
