I’m pretty much using the default settings for my iThemes Security plugin. However, my visitor stats are getting WAY SKEWED by bot visits, particularly from 4webmasters.org & trafficmonetize.org, and others. I get thousands of hits from these bots (or whatever they are), which dramatically increases the so-called “visits” to my website, throwing my numbers way off. How can I stop these unwanted bot visits? Thank you!

I am going to re-post this because for some reason the forum cut off part of my title, so no one understands what the question is.

    Hi,

    I didn’t see your re-post so I thought I’d reply here.

This isn’t something that iThemes Security currently does. However the HackRepair Default Blacklist is currently being updated.

You can do this manually in your .htaccess.

    Thanks, Gerroald,

I’ve already implemented my .htaccess file with the Block Referrer code. I’m just not sure if it’s working or not. I think I just need to wait a bit longer to see is the offenders drop off the visitors list. Thanks
