    Hi Chris,

I have added a new option to the plugin that allows bypassing SSL verification (which should only be used for testing as it is insecure).

You’ll just need to update the plugin to version 1.2.2.

Please let us know if this solves the issue with your API integration.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    v1.2.2 works for me.

and does the Pro version support or going to support below features in coming?

    1. Connect external API and option to store data in databas
    2. Schedule run the API connection to get data with frequency
    3. Shortcode to display the data in frontend
    4. Option to display the data in HTML or table format
    5. Option to export the data to csv

    many thanks

    Hi Chris,

Glad to hear that is working.

    To answer your other questions:

    1. I am currently working on this feature – to store API details as custom posts in the database.
    2. Running the API on a schedule will be a part of storing the API data, so yes this is being worked on.
    3. Yes, you can use a shortcode to display the API data – this is currently available in the free version.
    4. Yes, the PRO version has both of these options. The HTML option is very simple and just wraps all your API data with HTML tags (https://api-press.com/docs/html-output/). We also have templates such as table, gallery, slider, list, cards and more. Here is info on the table template – https://api-press.com/docs/table-template/
    5. Using the Table template, there is an option to export the table data via CSV.
