How to show videos in search

    I am looking to have embedded videos display in search/categories/archives just as they do on my front page.

    Instead of showing the video they show an excerpt of the embed code. I found a work around that uses custom excerpts to remove the unwanted code.

    However, what I am trying to achieve is to simply have the embedded video actually appear in the search/category/archive pages.

    Can someone please advise me on how to do this? Thanks!

    I managed to get it to work. If anyone else is trying to do this……

    Simply change the_excerpt to the_content in the loop.php file.

    This will cause pages to ignore excerpts and will display the video.
