    Hi,

    I am using Chrome.

If I login my WordPress in one tab, and then visit a blog article, such as https://www.datanumen.com/blogs/how-to-fix-3-data-loss-scenarios-in-microsoft-word/, in another tab, then sometimes, there will be a edit bar in the top so that I can make changes to the post. however, Sometimes the top edit bar will not appear, which makes very inconvenient. I have to copy the post title, then search in the loggined WordPress control panel to find out the post, then click “Edit” link to edit it.

So, how to make the top edit bar show when I am logged in?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @chcw,

If you go to Users->Your Profile in the admin dashboard is the ‘Show Toolbar when viewing site’ box checked in the Toolbar row? If not, make sure to check it, update your profile at the bottom of the page and then see if it starts showing up on the front of the site.

If that doesn’t work, please disable all plugins you have active and switch to a different default theme if you’ve done any customizations to Twenty Fourteen.

If that works, you can go back to enabling your Twenty Fourteen theme. If the issue doesn’t return, you can go back enabling each plugin one by one ensuring to test for the issue after activating each plugin.

Hope this will work for you.
