How to show short description of product in featured products

Hello,
I’m new to the forum so please let me know if Ive posted this in the wrong place.

Im also a new wordpress.org user, and I’d like to know how to show the short description of all products in the featured products shortcode of a page. If you visit my website http://www.samplesfrommars.com/ you can see the featured products on my home page.

I would like to place the short description of each product either directly below the product title, or below the product price.

My final goal is to show an audio player under the product title or product price, without having to click on the product to see the details. I figure if I can get a short description here, I can insert shortcode for an audio player.

I don’t know a thing about HTML, so this has proven very difficult for me.
