How to show only from same Tags? | WordPress.org

I want the plugin to show only if the posts share a common tag.
I checked the option in settings, but for some reason is not working.

Here’s what I’m doing:
I have a single post with the tag “X”
I have a custom post type post with the tag “X”

Single post must show all the custom post type posts with the tag “X”
Custom post type posts must show the single post with the tag “X”

What am I doing wrong?
I can make this work only with the Manual related posts field.

For the custom post types and the single are these the exact same taxonomy.

What I mean is that your custom post type should also use taxonomy=post_tag same as that of normal Posts. You can check this in the address bar of your browser to confirm.

Separately, if this is the case, are you able to check what queries are generated using Query Monitor? See here: https://webberzone.com/support/knowledgebase/debugging-with-query-monitor/

Where can I see the taxonomy in my browser address bar?

As per the screenshot, it looks like the same taxonomy. Can you look at the queries as per above using Query Monitor and let me know what is generated?
