    On my site I’m showcasing my cartoons and illustrations, each post is just an image. I would like to see a thumbnail in my search results, not an excerpt. How can I get this to work. I’ve tried adding featured images, but then I see these on each post in my blogroll, If this is the way to go, how do I hide these featured images on the posts in the blogroll?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    I found a workaround: In content-archive.php, under entry-summary, I replaced <?php the-excerpt(); ?> with <?php the_content(); ?>

    <div class=”entry-summary”>
    <!–<?php the_excerpt(); ?>–>
    <?php the_content(); ?>
    </div><!– .entry-summary –>

    There must be a better way to do this, but it’s ok for now…

    PS: I didn’t have to use features images this way. And: “page style” under Customizer >> Lay-Out >> Search doesn’t do anything.

    Hi @degarnaal! You can hide your thumbnail by custom css:

    .entry-thumbnail .thumbnail {
    display: none;
    }
