How to show hide

Hi i have a question.

I have section a with a button inside it with id “#next”

and section b with a button inside it with id “#prev”

Now i want when i click next hide the section a and show section b.

when click prev hide section b and show section a.

Now i can do only the first. on click hide a show b.

How could i make the other step? Thanks
