    Hi Tijmen,

I see you’ve cloded yesterday’s topic, so I’m not sure if I need to open a new topic, or can keep adding comments to the old topic…

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/more-information-link-in-location-list-not-always-showing-up/

    Anyway.

As a starting point, take a look at this screenshot:
    https://prnt.sc/pp65tt

Per store/location there are 3 places where I can enter information:
    1. A description in the body field
    2. Opening hours in a tab
    3. Contact info (tel, mail, fax, url) in a tab

I’d like to enter a description (1) and opening hours (2). No contact info (3).

I know I can add this code (https://gist.github.com/tijmensmit/f897babb7c50323ccbf2ac82e51746bf) like you suggested, however, this makes the store info by default too large.

I’d like to use the “More info” link/dropdown for this, but that link only becomes visible after entering at least tel, mail, fax of url.

How do I make description and opening hours visible, with default functionality/settings (that is: without adding code)?

What you want can only be done by adding custom code, there’s no setting that changes this.

What do you want to show under the more info section? The hours and description text? I can show the code how to do that.

Hi Tijmen, thnx again for the quick reply! 🙂

Yes, indeed. I’d like to show location name, and address, with a “More info” link/dropdown arrow. Once clicked, I’d like to show the opening hours, and possibly a short description.

    That’s basically it.

Try this code. It will show the more info link if the hours exist, which should always be the case.

    Hi Tijmen,

    This is just fab!
Thnx mate, exactly what I need! 🙂

I’d suggest you make this available in a future update, so others can benefit from it too! 😉

    Cheers,
    Marc
