how to shorten the height of blank space above the featured photo

    Hello wonderful people of WordPress,

    Could you please tell me which bit of CSS controls the margin or padding above the featured image in the list of posts (archive view). I’d like to decrease the height of the blank space above the image both between the menu on the top and the three featured images right underneath, and the space between when the summary for one post ends and the image of the following post (below) begins. TIA
