How to set up an error message for send button in contact form 7

    I have located the validation error messages, within messages rather than in a tab called validation messages as the page here shows.. 3 years old.. awesome… Problem is, the message is in the list but not being used.. How do I get it to use those messages other than sent successful (which works)
