    Ladies and gentleman,

i’m pretty new to all this wordpress thing, and now google analytics told me i should have a /m and/or /mobile site for my mobile versions of my site. I know how to set up a mobile version via plugin, but now i dont know how i can create sites that are found at http://www.domain.com/m or /mobile. Once i have them set up, redirecting via plugin shouldn’t pe any trouble, but i just don’t get it how to set up these folders. In wordpress itself? On my hosting providers site? And then, how can i get the WP mobile site there?

Thank you very much in advance!

    Best regards

    Max

To be perfectly honest, your site should be “responsive” – thus rendering it “mobile friendly” from the beginning. Pretty much all wordpress themes are responsive these days, do you have a site already that is quite old and has a theme installed?

Yes, i guess my theme is mobile friendly anyway, i don’t really need an extra mobile theme, but, google tells me it’s better for seo to have a /m or /mobile directory, that’s why i wanted to know how to install one.
thank you for your reply! 🙂
    best regards
