how to set the value of custom fields added in job submit form

Hi
I have read tutorial regarding adding salary field and I get it embedded into my site. Now I am using buddypress extended fields for extra fields for the profile and my client wants that when a user clicks on add a listing, that listing form fields which are same as profile fields should be pre populated by the user data.
To make it simple I have a field named passion in buddypress profile and job submit form as well. Now when user registers he gets to enter the information of passion field of buddypress profile. Now I want that when that user goes to add a listing page the mirror field of form called passion would be populated by the information added in profile field. I know I can retrieve user data of looged in user anywhere but I don’t know how to set the value of submit for fields
