    Hello,
unfortunately I have a comprehension problem with the plugin. In the plugin I can set a default duration of the expiration date. I do not understand how I can set there by default that each created post has an expiration time of one day. Somehow the plug-in ignores my settings and unfortunately nothing changes in the backend when creating posts.
    What can I do here?

    Thanks a lot Alex

    Hi @pidunski

    Thanks for using PublishPress Future.

Sorry, there’s not enough information here. Please explain your problem with enough detail that someone else can re-create the problem.

    Hi Steve,

thanks for your support. I would like to set the default expiration time to one day from publish date when creating a post. Unfortunately, when I create a post now the expiration date is always in the past or the respective publication date. You have to search through the calendar pop-up and select the appropriate date. However, I would like it to be automatically one day in the future.

For example, if the post is published or scheduled on 05 February. Then the expiration date should jump directly to 06 February. The default expiration time should be directly one day. In the options there is the setting of the default expiration time but unfortunately I do not understand its effect, because it does nothing when creating new posts.

Default settings -> Default expiration time “Set a default expiration time for new posts and pages. The default value is “none”.”

Do I have to set anything else in the wordpress core here that the values are taken over?

    Thanks Alex

    Hi @pidunski

    – Go to Future > Post Types
    – Set “Auto-Enable?” to “Enabled”
    – Set “Default Date/Time Duration” to “Custom”
    – Enter “+1 day”
