Support » Theme: Sequel » How to set the header image as a slider below the main menu?

  • I want to configure my theme as the example in http://sequel.wpdefault.com/ but I can’t find the feature that allows me to have a slider on the front page instead of a single image, and to have it disappear when navigating to another page. Also, how do I set the main menu’s position at the top of the page?

    Thank you.

The featured slider/grid section works with posts/pages tagged with a unique tag.

To set it all up you’ll need to have some posts/pages tagged as desired then visit the Customizer page and look for “Featured Content” tab where you can then proceed to make your choices. Once set, save and should have the featured content section on the site.

If you opt for the Featured Slider option then remember to visit the “Featured Slider Options” tab to fine tune the slider.

Also, how do I set the main menu’s position at the top of the page?

For this the theme uses the Fourteen Extended plugin – you can find the details here: http://wpdefault.com/fourteen-extended-update/

Hope that answers your queries but should you need further assistance/clarification please feel free to ask.
