Support » Theme: OnePress » How to set the content width

  • Hey there,

    sorry for bothering the community for a probably very simple issue, but I don’t really find a way to set the global maximum width of the content of my website.
    There is neither a field in the customizer to set the content width nor was my change of the functions.php successful. I tried to change the $width in the function “onepress_content_width()” as I thought it would affect the max width, but I didn’t change anything.
    Sorry for asking such a simple question, but I didn’t find any posts about that issue (maybe too basic 😉
    Could you give me an idea where I could make the change?
    Thanks a lot!

  • Hi @richibo

    You can use this custom CSS code in Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS, to change the max-width of the content

    body #page .container {
      width: 100%;
      max-width: 1300px;
    }

    Regards.

    Hey @longnguyen,

    Alle the best,
    Richard
