Support » Plugin: MetaSlider » How to set fixed image height 425px and keep width 100%?

    Hi,
    I’m trying to make the slide 425px fixed height with width 100%.

    Image should stretch height 100% (425px) and width auto (proportionally to height).

    The problem is that whenever the image sizes changes, it changes the container sizes as well. Overflow hidden covers the right arrow and caption.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Please could you set up a test page with the slider, and send us the link?

    @dnutbourne
    The test is local. Cannot access outside of network.
    I’ve seen a slider from another website that works, but it uses background-image instead of <img />.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

    What is the ‘Image Crop’ setting in the Slider’s Advanced settings set to?

    in wp admin, width 1200px height 442px for flex slider

    Hi,

    In the Advanced Settings for the slider, you should find an option labelled ‘Image Crop’.
    Could you try setting this to ‘Disabled (Smart Pad)’?

    does not work either
