How to set email notification distribution when a lead comes in

    I have auto lead management set and it’s definitely working. A lead comes in and is routed to the right user. However that user is not receiving an email telling them a new lead has been assigned to them. The main admin receives the email notification, but not the assigned user. Any idea how to fix? Thanks!

    we’ve had some issue with the default send mail function of wordpress.
    I suggest you try working with gmail as your gateway… try plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/
    no wonder they have 400,000 installs.
    just open a new gmail account , and once it’s working – check the sent items folder on the new gmail account… 🙂

    can you try and tell us if it worked ?

    I installed it and verified the plugin is connected to Google correctly. Same issue. I receive the lead email, but the person it’s assigned to does not. I’m happy to provide admin access if you’d like to take a look to see if I have it configured incorrectly. Thanks!

    Side note and very late at that:

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
