Support » Plugin: Jellyfish Counter Widget » How to set Counter Type = Static is Shortcode?

    Hi,

I am enjoying the plugin, but I can’t quite seem how to “set counter type to static” as the documentation indicates. I may be taking this too literally, but I have been looking for an attribute with the shortcode called “counter” or “type” or “counter_type” or some attribute to pass as “static” parameter to.

It’s plain as day how to do this using the widget, but I have scoured the documentation and forum and haven’t found an explicit parameter for enabling “static” via the shortcode.

After a lot of playing around, I think I was able to make it work by setting the start and end attributes to the same number, but that felt a little like a hack given the explicit field in the widget.

If there is specific (and intended) way to set static via the shortcode, can someone post it here via reply?

    Thanks in advance.

    Morgan

You are correct. At present, setting start and end values to the same number is the most reliable way to have a static counter.
