[resolved] How to set color for just one data set in bar chart (6 posts)

Hi. Thanks for this plugin. We really appreciate it.

We've been able to adjust the colors in a bar chart when we have data in multiple series. But we have a chart that has just one set of data, and for that we can't find a way to choose what color to use. The default color doesn't match the rest of our site theme, so we want to change it.

How do we set the default color in a bar chart, or set the color for one data set?

    Thanks very much.

    Hi @ccloskey!

I am not sure if I understand you correctly, could you show me a screenshot of what you want to do or explain a bit deeper? Have you tried to change a color in the "Series Settings" section?

    Sure, @madpixels.

We have two charts. We figured out how to set the colors for one of them:

But for the other, which doesn't have multiple series of data, just one series, we can't change the color from the default blue:

I would have thought there would be a color choice in either series or in the bar settings for the second chart, but there's not.

    I'm using Version

Sorry if I'm missing something really obvious. Thanks very much for your help!

It looks incorrectly. Could you give me a CSV file which you use for the second chart?

I've looked back at your example CSV and how we'd made ours, and that's where the problem was. We had not put a title/heading in the column with the data.

So now it's working. Thanks very much for your quick responses!
