Support » Plugin: Booster for WooCommerce » How to set blank price (for 'Call for Price') on variable product sku

  • Hi,
I am trying to use the Call for Price option when the product variation has a blank or no price. When I enter and save the empty price on the variation (which says it is required) I can save it, but then it doesn’t show up as a selectable variable. If I set the price to 0, it shows up but says Free, which is not what I want.
    Thanks,
    Rich

  • Is there a solution to this? I’d like to know this also.

I was having the same problem coming up with a solution for this. Has anybody been able to get “call for price” or some other messaging to work instead of a numeric price when you’re using a variable product? The Booster WordPress Plugin, mentioned above seems to work for a plain and simple product, as does adding a little code to the Theme’s function.php, as suggested here: https://gist.github.com/mikejolley/1597957.

I’ve tried looking at Woo Commerce Catalog plugins too, but they remove the shopping cart functionality of Woo Commerce. What I’m trying to do, is allow someone to select the exact size of a specific product they want and add it to a list that can be emailed to a specific office. I thought I was close a couple of times using Gravity Forms and a mixture of plugins, but it’s never perfect. I’m grateful for any suggestions. Thanks!
