how to separate categories

    I was wondering if there is an (id) or (attribute) that I can only collect certain categories. For instance:
    If i only wanted the (concentrates from weedmaps) to appear on the homepage and display the (sativa) at the top of the page and (indica) way at the bottom, etc.

    Im also curious if you can display a 3 column in horizontal view = | | | |

    | hybrid | sativa | indica | to allow no scrolling on the webpage. Thank you
