Hello @miikewordpress
Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.
The provided filters should provide this capability, but it does require some more custom code to make it work automatically with the YITH tracking plugin.
In order to help you from our end, I will create a feature request with developers and see what we can do from our end to make this feature more compatible with the YITH plugin. We will need some time to look into this, before we can tell you if we can do anything for this.
Please give us some time, so we can discuss this with our team internally. This is a 3rd party issue/request, so the priority might not be as high as you would like it to be. Be aware that this can take some time.
Kind regards,
Joost
Hello @miikewordpress
Could you confirm that this is the plugin you are using? Just to be sure we are investigating the right plugin 😉 Thank you.
Kind regards,
Joost
Hi @joostvandevijver
Yes, that is the correct plugin. I’m actually using a paid version but I believe the core codes should work the same way.
Thank you.
Warm regards,
Mike
Thank you for confirming this, we have asked our developer to take a look at this and give a response. I will let you know when I hear back from him.
Kind regards,
Joost
Hello @miikewordpress
I just reviewed the developers case, and it seems there are some improvements for tracking coming up in our next release (2.3.0).
This is a first effort that we can include in a change we are making for PayPal after they updated the tracking API. Please see if this improved the situation after the 2.3.0 release that should become available within 3 weeks.
Kind regards,
Joost
Thank you very much for making this improvement.
I will look forward to the release of 2.3.0.
Kind regards,
Mike
Hello all,
So the new Tracking API will be included in the next release (2.3.0), this change will only affect the US; possibly later also other regions (this is decided by PayPal). If you want to try out the current beta release (not fully tested yet), you can download this here.
The bug that has been opened, related to the compatibility with YITH WooCommerce Order & Shipment Tracking plugin, has also been picked up and added to the upcoming release.
You can test both these cases with the beta release that I linked above. If you still see the same issues, please open a new thread and we will take another look.
Kind regards,
Joost
