  • Hello Mpek,

    MailPoet only send HTML emails.

This said, of you don’t include anything, the emails will look pretty much like a regular email, minus the footer.

Does that mean the footer links can be deleted? How? I just want to let MP send out emails to a few recipients on specific days automatically, but they need to look like mails i just send… just a few mails i send out when a new client wants to work with me, no newsletter, can this be achieved with MP? Autorisierung mail without any additional links and in plaintext? I can’t find how to delete the footer and the links with text in a chosen test template…which one to take for my task?

Mpek, there’s no way to remove the footer.

Although we do plan to eventually offer a simple text, or simple email style in the future, it is currently not possible to do so.

It would be nice to have the option to send plain text. Overly formatted emails look very spammy to many people.

…just stumbled across this “old” post when searching for an option to send non-shiny real emails with MailPoet.

I’d like to second this request. At least add it to the paid version or make an addon for it.

Any split test I know of shows clearly that text-only mails have a better open AND clickthrough rate, people, incl. me, are bored of over-designed emails. having to click “show remote content” in Thunderbird, and so on…

Two approaches that would both be awesome:

    1. leave the editor as is, but add an option for subscribers to only receive the text version.

    2. include an option in the editor to switch to text-only mode.
