    Hi,

How can I see if the plugin is actually used on a website? It’s active, but the original website developer made a mess of the site (and doesn’t respond) and the client doesn’t know anything about this plugin. So we have to figure out if the plugin is used and needs to be migrated or if it can be removed.

Is there a list of all possible shortcodes, so I can search the post table in the database or any other method to figure this out?

    Thanks,
    Jos

  • You can call a shortcode whatever you like so there’s no set list of shortcodes to search.

The available shortcodes are defined by the plugin, so there must be a list. Only the parameter can vary, but I just want to know the basic list. Like:

    [content ...]
    [loop ...]

    etc.

Just take a look at Dashboard > Content and scroll to the “Registered shortcodes” section.

    Hi @peterpolow!

I’ve been digging through the dashboard but hadn’t find this overview yet. And now I’ve found it, the list is much longer than I hoped.

Luckily the client has already found that the shortcodes were used to show the ads on the site via [content …]. Let’s hope that was all.

    Thanks,
    Jos
