How to scan content and insert css on a WordPress post?

  • When I am writing post and I mark each step, I use 1. 2. 3. etc. Now I would like to find a way to scan for this numbers and chance the css style (just for 1. 2. 3. and so on. Not the actual content).
    Could anyone help me!

    Thanks,

  • I am going to add a little more detail and see if anyone could help me with this situation.

I would like to add some custom css to the number in each step of how-to guide I write and I happen to know that every step start with a number and a period (e.g. 1. 2. 3. and so on). Now what i need is a filter or something to scan and change the css. but I cannot find the way to accomplish that.

    thanks for the help!
