How to reveal path in url bar and not page id

    Hi, I’m trying to display url paths instead of page_ids for seo purposes. I see this done in many pages but I don’t see a tutorial for this (maybe because its not really a path) Regardless, I want a link from my menu bar to show http://www.site/page1 and not http://www.site/page_id#1.

    Please let me know if there is a solution for this.

    Settings -> Permalinks.

    Read all about them at Using_Permalinks in the docs section.

    Hi, thanks for the tip, I toiled around with using clean links but haven’t been able to navigate easily (at all) without dates- realistically speaking, is it possible to use super clean links easily?
    I keep getting some back page apache error.
