How to restrict access to PDF files not posts

    I’m trying to find something similar to this plug-in that will restrict access to PDF files unless the visitor is logged in. I have 1,000’s of unlinked PDF files on my server and must put some sort of logged in / not logged in filter on my search loop. Since I have no pages or posts with links to these files Post access control won’t help.
    Anyone have any ideas?
