    Hi

I have a problem: I gave my Domain to a friend, who i thought would finish the website, but now he blocks me everywhere. Unfortunately he’s got a wordpress account, where he probably created the website and I don’t have any access to this account to finish his work.

Is there possibly a way to reset the Domain or something? I’d appreciate any kind of help.

    Thank you
    Frank

WordPress.org does not provide hosting for sites, it provides the software for other people to use their own sites on their own hosts.

So ask your friend about the hosting provider.

Nobody here has nothing to do with your hosting provider or domain registrar.

    Hey t-p
Thank you for your quick reply. I have my domain from hosttech.ch and I still have the access to my account there.
Unfortunately my friend blocks my calls etc. so I thought there might be a way to remotely get the domain back, so I can use it from scratch to build it myself.
Is there a way of doing that or something similar?

“I gave my Domain to a friend” – what did you give, exactly? If you gave up your domain registrar login information then I’m sorry, you’re likely screwed.

On the other hand, if you can still log in to your domain registrar account – first change your password if you gave that up – then set your nameservers to point … anywhere you want. Pick a new host, setup a new site, point your nameservers at it, you’re good – except for your choice of friends. 😉
