    Hello,

I’ve been playing with WP. I’ve installed in onto my own website. It installed the basic kubrick theme.

I was adding links, pages, etc, etc, etc, just to see how it works and what it can do. Now I have various pages, links, comments, etc that I’ve added during my “play session”.

Now, I’d like to erase all the junk that I’ve added so far, and would like to start with a blank, plain kubrick theme, just like when WP originally installs.

Is there a way to do that? Again, I have it installed on my own website so I have full control over everything. I was just wondering if there is an easier way then delete the whole installation and reinstall.

    Thanks!

  • Never mind.

I am looking at doing the same thing … what did you do?

Delete the database, re-create it (same name, user etc..), then run the install file again.

Assuming you’ve not editted any files then that should be all you need to do.

Thanks, t31os … that’s what I actually ended up doing. I did not know there if there was an easier way (a hidden button somewhere)

    Hello,

    You mean install wordpress again?

Exactly. If you want to start over with a new blog, just delete the WordPress directory, the WordPress database, and re-install.
