When developing a Pro Plugin/Theme that I will allow people to purchase from my website, how can I protect the name of the Plugin/Theme. It seems that someone can later submit a different Plugin/Theme to the WP Plugin/Theme repository with the same name as mine. If their version number is higher, then mine , then WP will inform them to update the Plugin/Theme. Which would remove my Plugin/Theme and install the other authors Plugin/Theme.
How can I prevent this?

Thanks @sterndata, but I have read through that and it is still not clear. At best if I found that someone is using the a name of mine then I can contest it and say it is not an Official plugin of my company, but that may not work. Plus that would mean I would have to catch that.

I am hoping for a better approach.
